On Wednesday, one of our photographers headed to the North York home of Canadian Language Learning College CEO Aly for some professional headshots. His setup of choice was the blurred background indoors.

We find you the best background angles possible for blurred background portraits both indoors and outdoors. This may mean moving a table or sofa to get the proper look on some occasions. Providing a piece of furniture isn’t heavy, we can move furniture slightly to make the space work and leave the area as initially found. That being said, we will not move multiple or heavy pieces or entirely rearrange a space. If you plan an indoor blurred background, we suggest selecting a spot near a large window.
