Many clients love the approachable feel outdoor portraits have but are sometimes concerned about how to prepare for them. I suggest preparing like any other portrait but keeping in mind that the elements may throw you a few surprises. In addition, we suggest you bring a hairbrush if you have long hair, and a small bottle of hairspray, to combat any flyaways that might happen with a slight breeze. If we are anticipating a large amount of wind on the day of your portrait, and you will be wearing a tie or a jacket with a lapel, double-sided tape may be handy to keep everything down. Overall, outdoor portraits are a great way to brighten up your marketing materials, and with a little planning are just as easy as a portrait in your home or office.
